In Specifi it’s possible to convert a parent model into an accessory.
For example, these three pieces of equipment: the worktop, table and dropdown, all categorised as parent models.
Each of these possesses its own distinct position number, and when depicted on a sheet, they are treated as individual and distinct elements.
The user can run the “Accessories” command, which will ask you to select the equipment you want to keep as the parent model.
Next, the software will ask you to select the equipment you want to convert into an accessory. Click “Finish” when you’re ready.
As you can see, you have now converted the accessory into a single item. Only the worktop position number remains, because the others are now accessories.
In the schedule, the worktop assumes the role of the parent model, while all the accessories are systematically listed under the category of “worktop accessories.”
