Using the Revit command, you can generate sections in your project.
In the Modify/Section toolbar, you can create a section for a specific area.
By double-clicking on the section, it opens, and using the “Visibility” command, you can select the elements you want to display in the section.
Different shading or viewing patterns can also be applied.
For instance, filtering by electrical utilities is possible.
Automatically insert tags to a section by clicking on the ‘Tag’ command.
If needed, users can manually place utility positions using the “Dimension” command.
The height will be included in the tag.
Once the section is ready, it can be inserted into a sheet.
Open the sheet and execute the “Sheets” command.
Choose the discipline you are working with, such as electrical, and place the 3D view in the section.
Position your plan view, select the desired plan, and opt to show electrical services with the chosen section view.
If necessary, include a legend.
Additionally, installation diagrams can be inserted, and the software will prompt you to specify the location for the installation diagram.
