In Specifi Design Revit, you have the flexibility to edit parent accessories post-insertion.
Let’s start by inserting 2 ovens with utilities.
Open the eCatalog and search for the required equipment.
Select the oven, customise it with accessories, and insert it into your project.
Specify the position and rotation angle.
Next, manage installation points, affecting properties like electrical and plumbing for both ovens.
Click “Apply” to finalize the placement of all elements in the design.
This is the end result of my stacked oven, which will have an electrical connection for the hood and an electrical and water connection for both ovens.
Now, I would like to modify the equipment by replacing the double oven with a single oven.
There are two options. I can remove the oven and reinsert it with an open stent, or I can modify the equipment using the “Edit” command.
To edit the configuration, I now go to the plan view and click the “Edit” command to open the edit palette.
I select the equipment and go to the Accessories section.
The software will open a window with all the accessories placed on my equipment.
From the list I can edit, remove or replace accessories.
When I click “Apply,” Specifi asks me if I want to edit the utilities as well.
The end result is displayed in the plan view and 3D view.
I replaced my stacked oven with a single oven and the utilities remained the same for the hood and single oven.
