The process of numbering equipment within the project can be managed through “Settings,” allowing you to customize how equipment is numbered.
Within this menu, you can specify whether equipment should receive automatic numbering upon insertion, update the position number when equipment is relocated to another area, and include a leader in the equipment tag.
If you want to change the numbering method, the “Position Number” command provides options to set an equipment prefix with an area code or specify a divider.
Users can also determine whether identical equipment should share the same position number.
When inserting equipment, the order of entry is automatic.
If you want to change the order, you can update it manually by clicking on the “Number Position” command and selecting the area.
By selecting the desired area, users can activate the “Manual Numbering” button and choose to continue from the last number or specify a starting point, such as from 15 or from the beginning.
In this case, we want to start from the beginning.
Select the equipment in the area and set your numbering to begin with the first number.
