To add a new piece of equipment with accessories to your Revit project, click “Insert” to open the eCatalog.
In the eCatalog, users can filter products by name or select a specific manufacturer.
Upon finding the desired product, you can review general data, such as dimensions and product codes.
Further down, you’ll find the “Accessories and options” tab.
Here, users can select different accessories to incorporate with the product.
We recommend clicking on the 3D preview to see how the model will be configured before inserting it into the project.
Accessories are organized by type.
All of the tables you see here are included in the manufacturer’s catalog.
For this unit, you can see the tables are organized by the right and left sides.
This allows for a dynamic configuration, enabling users to choose accessories or even reverse the arrangement, providing options like left-to-right or right-to-left versions of this dish machine.
The configuration process is similar to playing with Lego pieces, allowing users to customize the model as desired.
Users can also opt for invisible accessories, which remain hidden in Revit but contribute to the quote generation after synchronization.
Once I have configured my dishwasher, I am ready to insert it into my Revit project by clicking on “add to project”.
The software prompts you to specify the location, rotation angle, and installation points, connecting the equipment to sockets, vaults, and drains.
Upon clicking “Apply,” the software seamlessly inserts utilities into the project.
The configured dish machine has now been inserted with the chosen accessories and utilities that were added to the parent and accessory models.
