Now that the utilities have been set, you can start adding tags by section. Clicking on the “Add Tags” command will insert all the tags into the selected floor plan. Here in the Electrical Floor Plan, you can highlight an area and it will reveal the labels.
The position number is very important because it is connected to the utilities which correspond to the equipment, making it much easier for the electrician to understand what each utility refers to.
You can also reveal the distance between each fixture by selecting the “Create Dimensions” command. This can be specified manually by entering the starting point from which to calculate the distance. Select your utilities and the dimensions will be placed automatically. You’ll notice each tag is red because it was specified in the settings before starting the project.
